This on-site role will focus on IT portfolio management for the Army Materiel Command (AMC) including governance processes investment evaluation and benefits realization tracking. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience with a focus on IT portfolio management in a government or military environment. Essential Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:The IT Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing a full spectrum of IT portfolio management activities across the entire IT lifecycle. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Assist with the execution of portfolio governance processes and frameworksFacilitate the intake evaluation and prioritization of new IT investment requestsDevelop and maintain comprehensive portfolio-level reports and dashboardsProvide support for AMCs IT Portfolio Management Systems including:Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS)Enterprise Task Management Software 2 (ETMS2)Analyze IT investment data to support strategic decision-makingFacilitate portfolio review meetings with leadership and stakeholdersMonitor portfolio performance through established metrics and KPIsEnsure compliance with DoD and Army IT management policiesIdentify and recommend improvements to portfolio management processesEducation and Experience:Required:Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology Computer Science or related field; and/or 3 years of experience in project management or IT portfolio managementDemonstrated experience with IT governance processesBackground in IT investment evaluation and prioritizationExperience tracking benefits realization from IT investmentsHistory of successful portfolio reporting and roadmap developmentRequired Skills and Competencies:Knowledge of IT portfolio management principles and practicesKnowledge with IT investment evaluation methodologiesAnalytical skillsKnowledge of portfolio management tools and systemsKnowledge of IT governance frameworksStrong communication skills both written and verbalExperience developing executive-level reports and presentationsAbility to facilitate decision-making processesKnowledge of IT lifecycle managementStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExperience with data analysis and visualizationWillingness to work on-site in Huntsville AlabamaClearance Requirement:Secret clearance Our Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
