Job Summary
SUMMARY:
The M&A Project Manager has the primary responsibility for planning coordinating and managing the activities related to the on-boarding of healthcare organizations to Lexington this role you will be responsible for planning executing and closing M&A projects while ensuring that they are completed on time. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that align with our clinics strategic goals and enhance patient care. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with the Director and communicate all activity clearly and effectively. The Project Manager will also work closely with other internal and external resources as needed to perform their duties.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Work requires a minimum of five years of experience within the healthcare industry to include group practice operations management planning finance and reimbursement and managed care concepts or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. This position requires the ability to organize communicate effectively and shape workplace attitudes; ability to evaluate situations and problem-solve; ability to share ideas effectively with others and in group situations; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to interact with people diplomatically; demonstrated ability to make appropriate decisions in the absence of instructions.
In addition this position requires analytical strong organizational and communication skills generally acquired through completion of college courses. Strong computer skills strong ability to multi-task good math skills good typing skills; minimum two years medical experience; knowledge of medical terminology working knowledge of ICD-9 ICD-10 and CPT coding; Registration/Insurance experience required; experience with Group Practice Management and IC-Chart strongly required.
- Education: Bachelors degree in healthcare preferred.
- Experience:A minimum of five years experience within the healthcare industry to include group practice operations management planning or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Define goals and deliverables in collaboration with Director and other key stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans schedules and documentation.
- Project Execution: Work with LC leaders to ensure projects are executed in a timely fashion. Lead project teams assign tasks and monitor project progress. Ability to evaluate situations and problem-solve.
- Resource Management: Coordinate with internal and external resources including LC support departments to ensure adequate support for project execution.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with Director clinic leadership and merging organization leadership team(s). Provide regular project status updates and communication to effectively share ideas with others and in group situations. Ability to communicate effectively & professionally with verbal and written communications.
- Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth project implementation and user adoption of LC strategies goals and policies. Interact with others in a diplomatic fashion. Provide leadership during the transition period and promote goodwill among staff and physicians
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans schedules and post-implementation projects.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse position self remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day; use basic office equipment;read and understand medical information;visual and auditory to travel locally and regionally. Able to work varied hours based on practice needs.
