Job Description/Responsibilities
As the HR Genreralist you will provide human resources support for Western Son Distillery. You will be a steward of the desired culture providing knowledgeable and professional guidance administering HR functions such as compliance with employment laws and regulations policies and programs; maintenance of employment records hiring and staffing; onboarding; data collection and analysis; accurate maintenance of HRIS systems; benefits and training and development.
Priorities
- Continuous communication and reinforcement of company culture. Team Member assessment of culture monitored on regular basis via Sazerac Culture Survey and limited use of Best Places to Work surveys. Tangible results in improvement of culture scores based on survey feedback.
- An ongoing effort to improve products services or processes. These efforts can seek incremental improvement over time or breakthrough improvement all at once. All are evaluated in the light of their efficiency effectiveness and flexibility.
- Develop an external talent pool base LFE interviewing tools readily available to all hiring managers able to identify and attract top talent alignment around hiring and staffing process with all parties committed to move quickly to successfully close on hiring of top talent.
- PDS system design and implementation to include active PDS evaluation for each team member with regular feedback sessions between team member and manager overall grid rating for each team member 360 degree feedback program. Identify the #1 Skill to be developed by each team member.
Qualifications/Requirements
MUST
- Bachelor degree in business human resources or related field
- 3 years relevant experience (minimum)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a fully onsite work schedule
PREFERRED
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
- Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
- Human resources related professional certification
