About the Role

A well-established nationally recognized civil litigation firm is seeking a talented and experienced Liability Defense Attorney to join its Dallas or Tallahassee office. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional to take ownership of a dynamic caseload while working in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

In this role you will independently manage a pre-existing caseload of liability defense matters from pre-suit through litigation. You will be trusted to handle cases efficiently while delivering high-quality legal analysis and advocacy.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing liability claims at all stages including pre-suit investigation and litigation
Conducting discovery depositions and developing case strategies
Drafting pleadings motions and legal correspondence
Representing clients in mediations and other proceedings
Collaborating with internal teams to drive favorable outcomes

This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

What Were Looking For

Minimum of 7 years experience in liability defense particularly premises liability or similar negligence claims
Proven ability to independently manage and drive a caseload effectively
Strong experience in litigation including discovery depositions drafting pleadings and motions and mediations
Exceptional writing analytical and oral advocacy skills
Excellent time management and communication abilities
Detail-oriented with a proactive and organized approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent matters
Collaborative mindset with a strong team-oriented approach

Confident in both German and English written and spoken
