About the Role
An established nationally recognized civil litigation firm is seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage and Liability Attorney to join its Tallahassee office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex high-value matters across First-Party Property Insurance General Liability Defense and Insurance Coverage Litigation.
You will play a hands-on role in managing cases interacting with clients and contributing to litigation strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to deepen their expertise while working alongside experienced litigators on sophisticated matters.
What You Will Do
- Handle matters related to first-party property claims and insurance coverage
- Manage liability defense cases from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings motions and discovery documents
- Defend depositions of experts fact witnesses and parties
- Attend court hearings mediations and assist with trial preparation
- Ensure compliance with billing practices and reporting guidelines
Qualifications
- Strong academic background
- Proven experience in drafting pleadings motions and discovery
- Experience with insurance coverage and/or liability defense matters
- Familiarity with billing practices and reporting requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Excellent analytical writing and communication skills
