Job Summary

Short Description

An established technology organisation is seeking an experienced CyberSecurity Business Development Manager to join their highperforming team.

This is a hybrid role combining remote work with occasional office days and client site visits.

Bullet Points:

  • Hybrid working model (Midrandbased) with periodic travel to client sites
  • Minimum 4 years CyberSecurity & Cloud sales/business development experience
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of CyberSecurity and Microsoft Azure solutions

Role Purpose:

  • Drive new client acquisition and expand the organisations CyberSecurity and Cloud portfolio
  • Build a scalable repeatable client acquisition strategy
  • Ensure alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards
  • Report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 years experience in CyberSecurity and Cloud sales/business development
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven track record in selling Microsoft Azure / Sentinelaligned services

Key Performance Areas:

Identifying New Business Opportunities

  • Analyse ideal client profiles based on profitability and growth potential
  • Manage and optimise Client Acquisition Cost (CAC)
  • Evaluate and prioritise new business opportunities

Acquiring New Clients

  • Maintain and grow a strong network of CyberSecurity partners
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand business and collaboration needs
  • Select acquisition methods aligned with CAC and market trends
  • Manage and track Client Lifetime Value (CLV)

PostAcquisition Management

  • Collaborate with Account Managers PreSales and crossfunctional teams
  • Provide accurate highquality information to internal stakeholders

External Relationship Building

  • Represent the organisation as a trusted CyberSecurity partner
  • Respond to external information requests
  • Attend industry events conferences and networking engagements

SelfManagement & Organisational Contribution

  • Set and track personal development goals
  • Demonstrate professionalism and cultural awareness
  • Share best practices and participate in onsite learning initiatives

Technical Competencies

  • Strong CyberSecurity and Cloud sales acumen
  • Understanding of sales processes and pipeline management
  • Report writing and proposal development
