Were looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join a high-performing payroll team and take ownership of end-to-end payroll across multiple locations.
Role Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing for salaried and award staff.
- Be the payroll expert for all AU-related queries and discrepancies.
- Process new starters terminations salary changes and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with PAYG FBT Super and tax legislation.
- Analyse time & attendance records for accuracy and Award compliance.
- Support monthly reconciliations journal entries and year-end processes.
- Maintain payroll records and system integrity.
- Partner with HR to improve processes and assist on broader projects.
Role Requirements
- 3 years payroll experience in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of NZ payroll is a plus.
- Skilled in payroll/HRIS platforms (Dayforce preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Awards PAYG FBT Super and tax.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative proactive and customer-focused.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Diploma or higher in HR/Finance or Cert IV in Payroll advantageous.
