About the Role

We are seeking a Controls Engineering Supervisor to lead automation and controls initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing controls engineering projects supporting production systems and driving continuous improvement in automation and system performance.

The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of controls engineering experience including leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the controls engineering team
Design develop and troubleshoot PLC/HMI/SCADA systems
Support production equipment automation systems and process improvements
Oversee installation commissioning and upgrades of control systems
Collaborate with maintenance production and engineering teams
Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards
Manage project timelines budgets and technical deliverables
Provide technical guidance training and mentorship to team members

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics or related field (or equivalent experience)
7 10 years of controls engineering experience
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley Siemens) HMIs and SCADA systems
Experience in manufacturing or industrial automation environment
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment
