This is onsite role in Reno County KS

We have a current opportunity for a Controls Engineer on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Reno.

Review design and modify/correct advanced control system architectures for turbines generators boilers and auxiliary equipment.
Program configure and optimize automation platforms such as PLC and DCS.
Conduct system modeling and simulation to improve stability reliability and efficiency.
Monitor and analyze plant performance to optimize operational efficiency and mitigate downtime. Troubleshoot automation instrumentation and control system issues in real time.
Support operations teams in implementing improvements and system upgrades.

Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience with major OEM control platforms including:
* GE Mark V Mark VI (aka Mark 6) and Mark VIe
* Emerson Ovation
