Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading a team minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring all maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of 10 20 maintenance technicians
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Quickly respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Troubleshoot electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- Maintain spare parts inventory and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance
Requirements
- 3 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance systems (electrical mechanical etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
- Good leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Word Excel)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb crawl squat kneel and reach as needed
- Lift push pull or carry objects up to 25 lbs. or more
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
