Catalyst Labs is a specialist talent agency partnering with global professional services organisations across corporate services fiduciary legal accounting regulatory and financial services functions. We are deeply embedded in our clients recruitment operations working directly with senior decision-makers including Partners Managing Directors Board members and C-suite leaders across international firms and high-growth platforms.

The Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of HR administrative and operational functions while also contributing to broader HR initiatives. This role is integral to maintaining smooth HR processes enhancing employee engagement and ensuring effective delivery of HR services across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the daily operations of the HR function.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and profiles.
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle including onboarding probation tracking performance evaluations contract amendments and offboarding.
  • Preparing HR documentation such as employment contracts official correspondence and internal policies.
  • Assisting with recruitment activities including job postings candidate screening and interview coordination.
  • Organising interviews appraisals training sessions and other HR-related meetings.
  • Updating and managing HR systems and internal databases.
  • Coordinating employee engagement initiatives internal events and wellbeing programs.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies HR procedures and Maltese employment regulations.
  • Providing support on HR projects and handling additional departmental tasks as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar HR role.
  • Solid understanding of the HR lifecycle and established HR practices.
  • Strong organisational and administrative capabilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Shireburn Software will be considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism discretion and confidentiality.
  • Fluent in both English and Maltese written and spoken.
