This position reports to:

Sales Area Manager - Eastern Canada

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales of B&Rs complete product range in the territory by working on new and existing sales opportunities
  • Identify define and develop the best technical solution and strategy for customerapplications
  • Hold in-depth technical presentations and discussions with thecustomers
  • Expand customer base through the development and execution of a Target Account Business Plan
  • Develop market intelligence and document this knowledge in B&Rs CRM system (Customer Relationship Management)system
  • Work with Marketing Business Development and other resources to promote salesefforts
  • Attend trade shows to seek out potential customers and torepresentB&R at theseshows; attend yearly sales meetings andworkshops
  • Increase sales with existing customers through exceptional sales support as well as the introduction of new products andservices
  • Additionalduties asassigned

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechatronics Mechanical Electrical or similar) or equivalent work experience
  • 6 years relevant experience in technical sales business development and lead generation; prior automation preferred
  • Experience with Machine and Motion Controldesirable
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical products andsolutions; keen interest in the application of leading-edge technology acrossindustries
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Travel up to 50% - 75% within territory (mostly domestic with occasional international); applicants must possess a valid passport
  • Applicants should possess authorization that would allow them to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship
