Location: Remote Bangalore India (Mumbai maybe considered)
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (Annual Renewal. It will be renewed each year.)
Compensation: yearly pay paid time off & holidays (per local law) Depending on experience. We are willing to train and give performace raises.

The Associate Director or Manager Regional Experiences India will lead growth and engagement strategy in the India market manage the India Chapter and deliver high-quality events and experiences for members partners and sponsors. This position combines strategic business development with hands-on operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Market Growth -
Identify and target new companies and professionals in India.

Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective members and partners.

Develop strategies to attract and retain corporate real estate professionals in India.

Research and recommend new products services and opportunities tailored to the India market.

Conduct competitor and customer intelligence to refine outreach strategies.
2. Chapter Leadership & Member Engagement -
Lead and support the India Chapter ensuring a high level of member satisfaction and service delivery.

Partner with the Chapter Board (volunteer leaders) to drive membership growth engagement and governance.

Support annual membership renewals and collaborate with the global membership team on retention initiatives.

Build relationships with senior leaders from companies of all sizes to expand association reach.
3. Event Planning & Execution -
Lead planning and delivery of the India Conference (500 attendees) and other in-person and virtual Chapter events.

Manage all event aspects including programming speaker coordination sponsorships logistics budgets and marketing.

Administer event execution-ranging from strategic planning to on-site operational tasks (yes even name tag preparation).

Collaborate with sponsors vendors and volunteers to deliver high-impact events.
4. Learning & Program Support -
Promote learning courses programs and events to members in India.

Assist in recruiting attendees for learning events and provide on-site support.

Work with HQ teams to adapt programs to the cultural and market needs of India.
5. Administration Governance & Reporting -
Ensure compliance with policies financial procedures and Chapter affiliation agreements.

Maintain accurate databases in the CRM; generate reports using Aptify CRM and Excel.

Support chapter financial reporting budget management and governance best practices.
-
Provide consistent high-quality administrative and operational support to the Chapter Board and members.
Qualifications & Competencies Required: -
Bachelors degree (or equivalent professional experience).

Minimum 5 years in a senior administrative business development or membership role.
-
3 years working within a professional association.

Proven ability to lead volunteers and manage chapter or member-based organizations.
-
Event management experience for large-scale conferences (500 attendees).
-
Strong skills in CRM systems database management and Microsoft Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with persuasive diplomacy.

Strong organizational time management and multi-tasking skills.
-
Hands-on approach-willing to both strategize and execute.
Preferred: -
Experience in corporate real estate or related industries.

Prior experience working with international teams.

Comfort working across time zones and participating in calls during evenings to align with global HQ.
Additional Details -
Contract Type: Independent contractor (1099 equivalent in India) with annual renewal; paid monthly upon invoice submission.

Schedule: Standard business hours in Bangalore (flexibility required for international calls).

Location: Bangalore preferred; Mumbai considered. Remote from home.

Travel: Occasional travel within India and internationally for events; once a month for 2-3 days. All expenses paid.
