The Opportunity
Be part of a global diverse and forwardthinking team within Hitachi Energys Global Product Group GPQSS. We are looking for a Global Risk Manager to lead the Risk Review process in strong collaboration with the Sales & Tendering Team and Business Management.
In this role you will partner closely with Sales Tendering and Business Management teams worldwide. You will become the trusted voice that ensures all commercial and contractual risks of our customer offers are properly identified assessed mitigated and aligned with our business strategy.
This position is based in Europe and works with colleagues across the globe.
How youll make an impact
Review and validate all tenders to ensure full compliance with internal directives and instructions.
Lead and participate in scheduled risk review meetings with the tendering team.
Verify that the risk review tool is accurately updated before and after each review.
Ensure all risks are identified assessed and assigned clear mitigation actions.
Confirm liabilities contractual aspects and profitability based on the GPQSS Full Cost Model.
Prepare and share summaries of key contractual elements with stakeholders.
Deliver trainings and guidance on risk management across GPQSS.
Follow up on risk execution progress and integrate lessons learned into future tenders.
Your background
Ideally you bring a strong engineering background and a high level of seniority gained in complex international project environments.
Several years of experience in Risk Management Controlling Sales Tendering Project Management or Contract Management.
Excellent communication skills and experience working with global diverse teams.
High level of organizational skills attention to detail and strong process orientation.
Experience dealing with customers and internal stakeholders.
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
