We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical professional to join our Sales Compensation Case Operations team as a Commissions Case Analyst.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Sales Incentive Specialist you will be responsible to:

  • Research and resolve commissions cases accurately and within defined SLAs.
  • Investigate sales transactions compensation calculations and system outputs to determine root cause.
  • Clearly document findings actions taken and resolution outcomes in Salesforce.
  • Apply compensation policies and rules consistently while escalating exceptions appropriately.
  • Identify patterns or recurring issues across multiple cases and flag potential systemic problems.
  • Partner with Operations leads to improve case accuracy consistency and predictability.
  • Support monthly quarterly and year end activity periods by maintaining high quality under volume.
  • Resolve sales compensation cases using Salesforce Varicent and supporting systems ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform detailed research into sales data crediting calculations and adjustments to determine correct outcomes.
  • Apply established compensation rules and policies consistently across cases.
  • Document cases thoroughly to support auditability transparency and future reference.
  • Identify repeat case drivers and contribute to root cause analysis efforts.
  • Escalate complex or high risk issues with clear context and recommended next steps.
  • Support process improvements by providing feedback on case trends gaps or inefficiencies.

About You

Youre a fit for the role if your background includes:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales compensation operations finance operations or case management.
  • Experience working with Salesforce case management and/or Varicent (or similar ICM systems such as Callidus or Xactly).
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify patterns and trends across multiple cases not just resolve individual issues.
  • Comfortable working with data and navigating complex systems.
  • Clear written communication skills especially for documenting findings and resolutions.
  • Ability to manage volume meet deadlines and maintain quality during peak periods.
