What will you work on
The International Sales Manager will obtain sales and profit (EBITDA) contribution by establishing and accomplishing business objectives as well as by managing all functions within the scope of responsibility for addition this role is to specifically identify and proactively build the route to market by country/subregion that will quickly grow the footprint and impact of the Spin Master business within the LATAM region. This includes the discussion on distribution models product development/ needs and also franchise development and the infrastructure needed to succeed. The candidate will be a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who will need to maximize opportunities manage risk deliver on profitability goals develop effective long-term business relationships inside and outside of the organisation and to exceed customer and retailer expectations.
How will you create impact
- Develop bi-annual business plans that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needs
- Deliver product presentations business proposals and ad plans to customers on time
- Understand customers timelines and proactively provide them with all information and materials required to make decisions and manage business well
- Work with support team to develop forecasts that best reflect market realities; update forecasts as required at minimum on a monthly basis
- Timely and effective review of actual performance to ensure goals are achieved and adjust plans as necessary
- Analysis of sell through data and market intelligence to maximize business opportunities while minimizing risk
- Full responsibility and accountability for go to market strategies sales marketing local teams and coordination with operations/finance teams;
- Responsible for the region P&L brand mix and distributor/ retailer mix strategies delivering results in line with corporate expectations;
- Develops strategic plan by studying commercial and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives and achieving targets to deliver the expected results;
- Increases managements effectiveness by recruiting selecting orienting training coaching counseling their team.
- Communicating values strategies and objectives;
- Assigning accountabilities; planning monitoring and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities;
- Lead and/or participate into ad-hoc projects such as acquisitions divestitures merges organization changes;
- Forecasting accurately the month quarterly and yearly Sales projections and landing 90% of forecasts from 30 days out; Margin level;
- Develop a stable growth plan across the region including long term brand plans that build long term brand equity;
- Support the key and core focus brands/ ranges in line with the global direction;
- Determining the optimal pricing to balance profit with customer/consumer satisfaction;
- Align GBU/Marketing with Sales goals and activation timing by retailer to create more powerful sell thru.
- Leadership Skills: to keep employees motivated resolve conflicts and make hard decisions for employees;
- Budgeting: create keep and maintain a budget as well as make projections based on previous expenditures;
- Analytical Skills: to maintain an efficient and motivated team;
- Also need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day;
What are your skills and experience
- Min. Bachelors degree or higher in Marketing Business Development MBA or any related field
- Min 12 years of experience in Sales & Marketing with more than 5 years in management level
- Good command of English and other language would be an advantage
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience in Consumer Product; Toy Industry is preferred
- Decision-Making Skills: Whether it is dealing with employees customers top executives or vendors - making decisions that affect the company. Having the ability to make hard and fast decisions is crucial to success;
- Speaking and Writing: efficient communication; This might be in negotiations with contractors in front of a group of employees or in a meeting with other management members; writing and presenting reports and recommendations;
- Great verbal communications and writing skills will help in any of these scenarios
- Experience in team restructuring
