Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a local Asian Kenyan professional with solid accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely updates
- Prepare and analyze financial statements reports and budgets
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Assist with audits and financial reviews
- Manage invoicing billing and expense tracking
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Local Asian Kenyan
- Experience- Minimum 5 Years
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or similar)
- Good understanding of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA ACCA) is an advantage
- Experience working in a similar industry or corporate environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
