Position Overview
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales and providing technical support to
customers for our range of Sealants and Adhesives. The ideal candidate will have a strong
technical background combined with excellent sales and customer service skills. This role
requires frequent travel to client sites and participation in industry events.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
o Identify and develop new business opportunities within the target market.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure
repeat business.
o Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess market trends.
o Visit BNI Meetings & Represent Company whenever needed.
o Regular Follow-up with the Business Leads Received from India Mart & Facebook Lead Generation Campaign.
Technical Support and Consultation:
o Provide technical support to customers including product demonstrations and technical presentations.
o Assist customers with product selection and application to ensure optimal performance.
o Address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
Product Knowledge and Training:
o Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and their applications.
o Conduct training sessions for customers and internal sales teams on product features and benefits.
o Stay updated with industry developments competitor products and new technologies.
Sales Reporting and Strategy:
o Prepare and deliver regular sales reports forecasts and market analysis
o Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree in Engineering Chemistry or a related field.
o Proven experience in technical sales preferably in the sealants and adhesives industry.
o Strong understanding of sealants and adhesives applications and technologies.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to travel frequently and work independently.
o Proficiency in Any CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills
o Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
o Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the construction automotive or manufacturing sectors.
