Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

A data management specialist utilizes various computer databases to manage and maintain the data within those databases add or remove data and generate reports from the data. Data may include business performance metrics marketing and sales data project management workflows.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain the integrity of customer and sales data. This includes adding consolidating and cleaning data on a regular basis.
Create reports for marketing and sales on a regular basis based on overall or segmented customer data to aid in improving customer outreach activities and improve product sales. This includes trends and forecasting of product sales.
Manage the data and details of project management activities. Specifically administration of Click-Up or similar database tool to manage details within a project follow-up with assigned personnel on tasks and advise management on progress or delays in projects.
Collect and manage data inputs for company performance metrics and provide timely reports of the same to management.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: A minimum of an Associates Degree in data analysis data management or information systems or a closely related field; OR minimum 5 years experience in a related role is required.

Language Skills: Very effective interpersonal communication skills. Ability to respond to and resolve common inquiries complaints or conflicts with management customers venders employees and peers. Ability to speak effectively and efficiently on the telephone and in person. Ability to effectively present information to others

Mathematical Skills: Ability to use and understand basic math.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to perform well under stress when confronted with emergency situations. Attention to detail is a must.

Computer Skills: Must have experience with data entry and data search concepts. Extensive understanding of MS Word and Excel is a must. Experience with creating automated reports templates and queries is a plus. Experience with Power BI Click-Up Visual ERP and ZOHO is a plus. Experience with back-end data mapping API EDI and server table queries is a plus.

Other Skills and Abilities: Must be positive innovative forward thinker proactive team member. Must be a contributing team member. Must have a buck stops here attitude. Must have strong work ethic and be detailed oriented and be self motivated.
