TITLE: Funding Analyst

REPORTS TO: Funding Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is an opportunity to enter the financial services industry learning the critical components of the consumer loan process from application for credit to supporting loan documentations and stipulations through funding. This is a vital role to safeguard the integrity of the business and presents the perfect portal for a wonderful career path in a lucrative industry. The right candidate will be ambitious to learn from the ground up all the intricacies necessary to develop into a credit analyst or a leadership role in our funding department. Funding Analyst roles are widely ranged within the verifications of credit application information including customers identity monthly income address verifications and much more. Attention to micro detail is imperative for this position. Accuracy in data entry is vital. You will enjoy interacting with our wonderful team as well as our customers and external corporations like insurance companies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communication with clients vendors and customers
  • Verifying the accuracy of documents.
  • Verifying the accuracy of income calculations
  • Data entry into our Loan Operating System
  • Answer inbound inquiries via messaging systems and phones etc
  • Reconciliation of customer applications and contracts.
  • Preparing and mailing client statements.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S. have a valid driver license and professional appearance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Sound computer skills including basic internet & Microsoft Office Products with the ability to type 40 words per minute

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Mostly office environment. Will use office machines such as copier fax printer computers phones etc.
