The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Business and Financial Services Division in Helena.
This position is in the Business and Financial Services Division and involves working with the Cost Allocation and Advanced Planning Document (APD) Unit on key financial operations. The responsibility of this position is to manage the finance mechanism to obtain track and monitor approvals and funding for complex IT projects. This position will also work with Cost Allocation to ensure ongoing operations and quarterly deadlines are met.

Knowledge of financial theory and principles of business management operations and practices.
Ability to build complex financial models databases and Excel templates.
Advanced skill in Excel with strong fluency in formulas and functions (e.g. Pivot Tables Vlookup charts tables and/or other related software packages).
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business administration finance or accounting.
Five years of progressively responsible experience in financial or technical analysis.
Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered.
Preferred:
Experience in state government accounting finance or budget.
Data Science tools and languages including experience using SQL Server Snowflake Python MS Access and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
