GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.
Role Overview:
- Manage a team of front-line production employees including overseeing manpower deployment efficiency productivity absenteeism turnover recruitment disciplinary investigation & execution etc.
- Leading the team to meet defined targets in Safety Quality Delivery and Cost.
- Work closely and collaboratively with relevant functions to meet/exceed customer expectation.
- Address employee concerns resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
- Maximize labor utilization and flexibility through cross training for supporting business needs.
- Implement LEAN to the applicable processes within the cells.
- Ensure effective flowdown of company information to the team.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a front-line leader who can manage and engage a team drive LEAN and productivity and consistently meet Safety Quality and Delivery targets while upholding company and regulatory policies.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in first line management or relevant field
- Minimum 2 years or related working experience
- Familiarity with company policies/processes and legal guidelines of the aviation field
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in LEAN concepts
- Independent with initiative
