About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Application SupportEngineer to join a Production Support team ensuring the stabilityavailability and performance of critical business applications.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertisein Java Application Servers Cloud environments and DevOps practiceswho thrive in high-availability environments and enjoy solving complexproduction issues.

Key Responsibilities

Application Stability &Availability

• Ensure high availability and performance of production applications
• Actively participate in incident management (P1/P2) RCA and problem resolution
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to long-term solutions
• Execute deployments and change requests following ITIL & DevOps practices
• Participate in on-call rotations (24/7 support)

Technical Support &Collaboration

• Act as a key contact for Development teams troubleshooting and coordinating fixes
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to improve and deploy systems
• Implement upgrades patches and enhancements with minimal disruption

Documentation &Knowledge Sharing

• Maintain and update technical documentation and operational procedures
• Share knowledge and best practices across global teams

Monitoring &Observability

• Implement and optimize monitoring tools (Dynatrace Prometheus Grafana ELK Jaeger)
• Promote observability practices for proactive issue detection
• Define monitoring strategies with engineering and architecture teams

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• Java Application Servers: RedHat JBoss EAP performance tuning heap/thread dump analysis
• Cloud & Containers: Kubernetes OpenShift
• API Management: Axway Apigee
• Operating Systems: RHEL / Linux
• Monitoring & Observability: Dynatrace Grafana Prometheus ELK Jaeger
• CI/CD & Automation: GitLab Jenkins ArgoCD Nexus Ansible Terraform
• Databases: PostgreSQL MS SQL Server
• Methodologies: ITIL DevOps Agile/Scrum
