Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resource Manager to oversee the management and engagement of our consultant pool. The Resource Manager will be responsible for scanning our internal resource pool to identify suitable consultants for client projects and when necessary recruiting new talent from the market. This role requires strong relationship management skills to maintain and grow our connections with client managers where our consultants are deployed.
Key Responsibilities:
Resource Allocation:
- Analyze project requirements and identify suitable consultants from the internal resource pool.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand specific client needs and match them with the right resources.
- Proactively identify potential resource gaps and plan for future staffing needs.
Talent Acquisition:
- Conduct market research to identify potential candidates for open positions.
- Coordinate and manage the recruitment process including job postings candidate screening interviews and offer negotiations.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
Consultant Engagement and Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance consultant engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins with consultants to address any concerns and ensure their well-being.
- Provide career development guidance and support to consultants to foster their professional growth.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with client managers where our consultants are deployed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client managers regarding resource-related matters.
- Monitor consultant performance and address any issues or concerns raised by clients.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and report on resource utilization project assignments and consultant performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resource allocation and project assignments.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Resource Manager or in a similar role within the IT services or consulting industry.
- Strong understanding of IT consulting and services industry trends and demands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and consultants.
- Proficiency in using resource management and HR software/tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
