The Opportunity
As Director Total Fund Management (TFM) Investment Analytics you will lead the design and delivery of enterprisegrade analytical solutions that support portfolio construction funding decisions and global trading across the Total Fund. Blending strategic vision with handson product and engineering leadership you will build scalable modern analytics platforms that enhance transparency generate insight and enable execution excellence. This role sits at the intersection of advanced analytics modern engineering practices and strong product discipline - empowering datadriven decisionmaking at scale across the organization.
Who Youll Work With
You will report to the Senior Managing Director Investment Technology & Applied Intelligence and work closely with senior leaders across Total Fund Management Investment Risk and Investment this role you will lead crossfunctional delivery squads made up of engineers data engineers QA professionals and business analysts partnering closely with Product Managers and Scrum Masters to drive execution. You will also collaborate with Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and longterm platform strategy.
Your stakeholder network spans senior portfolio managers quantitative and risk teams treasury and global trading partners as well as external vendors and strategic technology partners. Engagement is continuous and handson ranging from strategic roadmap and quarterly planning discussions to daytoday delivery oversight.
What Youll Do
Analytics and AI Strategy
Define and execute an analytics and AI strategy aligned to Total Fund priorities
Translate portfolio and funding strategies into scalable analytics and AI capabilities
Deliver roadmaps that improve transparency attribution capital allocation insight and execution efficiency
Advanced Analytics and AI Platforms
Build and scale capabilities across data integration visualization predictive modeling optimization and scenario analysis
Lead aggregation and modeling of public market portfolio data
Develop AI models supporting risk analytics liquidity analysis leverage monitoring and cross-asset exposures
Delivery and Operational Excellence
Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists ML engineers analysts and BAs
Establish model development standards validation frameworks and performance monitoring
Ensure scalability reliability explainability and strong model governance
Manage external data providers and AI vendors
Oversee budgets resource planning and squad capacity
Stakeholder Partnership
Partner with TFM leadership to prioritize analytics and AI use cases
Align solutions to portfolio insight asset allocation and liquidity management needs
Report on delivery progress model performance and value realization
Advise on AI-enabled innovation in portfolio construction and investment analytics
Talent and Culture
Build and lead high-performing analytics and AI teams
Attract develop and retain senior data science talent
Promote accountability collaboration and continuous improvement
Champion responsible high-quality AI practices within Investment Analytics
What You Will Need
Minimum 15 years of relevant application/platform/solution management experience including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Demonstrated excellence in talent management communication and delivering analytics solutions within financial services or investment fund management.
Excellent knowledge of advanced analytics disciplines (e.g. Data Science Machine Learning Natural Language Processing).
Proven experience building and leading advanced analytics and/or data science teams.
An undergraduate or advanced degree professional designation or equivalent experience.
Designations in AI Machine Learning and/or Analytics are considered an asset.
