- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed group and events revenue targets
- Lead mentor and motivate a sales team to deliver exceptional results and maintain high performance standards
- Identify pursue and close high-value group and event opportunities through proactive business development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients event planners and group organizers
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management
- Customize packages and solutions to meet the unique needs of group and event clients
- Collaborate with operations marketing and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of group and event programs
- Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities to expand market presence
Qualifications :
- 5 years of proven sales management experience with at least 3 years focused on group sales events or hospitality
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience building and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder deals
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Comprehensive understanding of group sales dynamics event management and hospitality industry practices
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and sales metrics
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Relationship-building expertise and a consultative approach to client engagement
- Preferred: Fluency in Turkish and English; knowledge of the Istanbul market and regional business landscape
- Preferred: Experience with event coordination venue management or hospitality technology platforms
