Clarion Hotel The Edge is looking for our new lunch Sous Chef. We look for someone with a passion for cooking to join our team be a leader and help create unforgettable lunch experiences for our guests. As a key member of our culinary staff youll prepare delicious high-quality dishes contributing to menu development and ensuring food is presented at its best.
At Clarion you are expected to elevate the quality of life for both your guests and your colleagues. You achieve this by staying professional optimistic and attentive in everything you do.
What youll do:
- Preparing dishes in accordance with the procedures routines and profitability goals that have been established.
- Daily mise en place
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen including food preparation cooking and plating.
- Assist in managing inventory including ordering supplies maintaining stock levels and minimizing waste.
This is a permanent position for 100% with a start date to be agreed upon. The position requires working varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

To complement our current team we are looking for someone who is independent structured and proactive.

- You have a background in high-volume kitchens (hotels large restaurants or catering).
- You are a logistics wizardyou see the big picture and the smallest garnish at the same time.
- You lead by example. Youre the first one to step up when the pressure mounts and the last one to lose your smile.
- Youre obsessed with quality and consistency. Whether its a sourdough sandwich or a 3-course conference lunch it has to be The Edge standard.
