About the role

This role will develop and optimize power electronic circuits and inverter-based HVAC drive systems (BLDC/PMSM) and lead testing EMI/EMC validation reliability testing and ensure compliance with IEC/UL/CE standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and optimize power electronic circuits and inverter-based HVAC drive systems (BLDC/PMSM).
  • Lead testing EMI/EMC validation reliability testing and ensure compliance with IEC/UL/CE standards.
  • Drive DFM/DFT support SMT production resolve field/production issues and improve yield.
  • Execute BOM optimization localization alternate sourcing and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to production and collaborate with cross-functional global teams.

EDUCATION PREFERRED:

  • Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering (Power).

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • (Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in HVAC Control Systems. )

Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set:

  • Strong expertise in power electronics (SMPS inverters motor drives) and HVAC control systems.
  • Proven experience in field failure analysis root cause investigation and CAPA implementation.
  • Hands-on knowledge of EMI/EMC safety compliance and product validation processes.
  • Experience in ECR/ECN management component qualification and obsolescence handling.
  • Strong ownership mindset with cross-functional coordination and problem-solving capability.

Desirable Competencies/ Secondary Skill Set:

  • Exposure to global project coordination and supplier development.
  • Experience in value engineering cost reduction and component standardization initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of embedded systems firmware coordination and controller integration.
  • Familiarity with reliability tools such as FMEA 8D and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

  • High ownership mindset with accountability for end-to-end deliverables.
