Job description:

Experience & Support Model: 7 years of hands-on Informix DBA experience with 24x7 production support including rotational/on-call responsibilities in enterprise on-prem environments.

Architecture & Performance: Strong expertise in Informix architecture scaling partitioning consistency models throughput management and performance tuning (queries indexes configurations).

High Availability & DR: Deep knowledge of HDR ER replication HA/DR strategies backup & recovery and failover mechanisms.

Operations & Troubleshooting: Proactive health checks incident management root cause analysis patching upgrades migrations and performance optimization.

Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in mainframe utilities JCL REXX Python Shell scripting; experience with Ansible Terraform IaC and automation tools.

Cloud & Monitoring: Exposure to Azure and GCP deployments/migrations; monitoring tools such as Dynatrace Azure Monitor Nagios.

Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of authentication access control encryption audit compliance and license management.

Collaboration & Documentation: Experience working with application and infrastructure teams; strong communication and documentation skills
