Prime Video is redefining how people experience entertainment in Japan and this role sits at the center of that transformation. As part of our Owned & Operated (O&O) Marketing team youll own the in-app customer experience on Prime Video Japans digital storefront connecting millions of customers with their next favorite content across smartphones tablets smart TVs and Fire TV.
Your mission: deliver the right content to the right customer at the right moment. As Prime Video Japan expands its portfolio including live and pay-per-view events we need a marketing leader who operates at both strategic and tactical levels: shaping the in-app merchandising roadmap while owning campaign execution. This is a critical role with the scale complexity and resources of one of the worlds most innovative companies behind you.
Key job responsibilities
Drive Storefront Strategy & Execution
Own end-to-end planning and execution of in-app marketing campaigns including curated content collections featured placements and promotional banners that raise awareness improve content discoverability and drive streaming across Prime Videos diverse content and business lines.
Build and manage a comprehensive in-app marketing roadmap spanning regular campaign cycles seasonal tentpoles and emerging formats such as live and pay-per-view events with a focus on increasing streaming engagement and maximizing customer conversion.
Lead with Data
Analyze campaign performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations for local and global stakeholders
Design and execute A/B experiments across devices contributing to global product experiment roadmaps and continuously raising the bar on performance
Influence & Collaborate
Partner with global product teams on new feature rollouts and Japan-specific experiments
Serve as the in-app merchandising subject matter expert shaping processes and best practices across the regional and global marketing teams
Collaborate with offshore marketing operations teams to drive operational excellence and workflow efficiency
Communicate with Impact
Deliver weekly monthly and quarterly business reviews with clear data-backed insights and forward-looking recommendations for senior leadership

Were responsible for bringing customers into the Prime Video app enhancing their in-app experience and connecting the right content with the right customer at the right moment. From new title launches and seasonal campaigns to high-value events and global feature rollouts we do it all across every device and every service offering.

- 4 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building and optimizing multiple simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Speak write and read fluently in Japanese
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience building executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience converting insights into strategy and communicating complex ideas clearly and logically in written communication
- Experience analyzing digital marketing campaigns patterns and data trends to determine if they are meeting business objectives and in turn leading recommendations to optimize
