We are partnering with a leading precision engineering manufacturer to identify a Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end manufacturing operations within a CNC machining environment. This role is critical in driving operational excellence ensuring on-time delivery and scaling production capabilities while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations across CNC machining production planning and shopfloor activities to ensure efficiency and output targets are met.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity reduce waste and improve cost efficiency.
- Oversee capacity planning manpower allocation and resource optimization to support business growth and customer demand.
- Collaborate closely with engineering quality and supply chain teams to ensure seamless production flow and adherence to specifications.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to drive performance improvements.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality standards safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Lead mentor and develop a team of supervisors and operators fostering a high-performance culture.
- Manage customer escalations and work proactively to resolve operational challenges.
- Support new product introduction and process industrialization initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing operations with strong exposure to CNC machining environments.
- Proven track record in leading large teams and managing high-mix low-volume or mass production setups.
- Strong knowledge of CNC processes and precision engineering practices.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and production planning tools.
- Strong leadership problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced results-driven environment.
