Job Summary

We are partnering with a leading precision engineering manufacturer to identify a Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end manufacturing operations within a CNC machining environment. This role is critical in driving operational excellence ensuring on-time delivery and scaling production capabilities while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily operations across CNC machining production planning and shopfloor activities to ensure efficiency and output targets are met.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity reduce waste and improve cost efficiency.
Oversee capacity planning manpower allocation and resource optimization to support business growth and customer demand.
Collaborate closely with engineering quality and supply chain teams to ensure seamless production flow and adherence to specifications.
Implement and monitor KPIs to drive performance improvements.
Ensure strict compliance with quality standards safety regulations and industry best practices.
Lead mentor and develop a team of supervisors and operators fostering a high-performance culture.
Manage customer escalations and work proactively to resolve operational challenges.
Support new product introduction and process industrialization initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
8–12 years of experience in manufacturing operations with strong exposure to CNC machining environments.
Proven track record in leading large teams and managing high-mix low-volume or mass production setups.
Strong knowledge of CNC processes and precision engineering practices.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and production planning tools.
Strong leadership problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced results-driven environment.
