Job Summary
Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient Orthopedic
Location: Peachtree Corners GA
Schedule
- 36 hours guaranteed per week (up to 40 hours expected)
- Overtime requires prior approval
- Productivity expectation: 60 visits per week
- Patient load: 1214 patients per day (double-booking of follow-ups expected)
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient Orthopedic provides rehabilitative care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. This role focuses on improving mobility reducing pain and restoring function in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions
- Provide therapeutic interventions including manual therapy and exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Clinical Operations
- Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure quality care while meeting productivity expectations
Collaboration
- Educate patients on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) (state-specific)
- PTA candidates will not be considered
- New graduates accepted
- First-time travelers accepted
Preferred Qualifications
- Outpatient orthopedic experience
