Job Summary
Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Monroe GA 30655
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week Day Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join an outpatient orthopedic setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care improving patient mobility and supporting recovery through evidence-based treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Utilize therapeutic techniques including manual therapy exercise programs and modalities
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention mobility improvement and home exercise programs
- Document evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain a safe clean and organized clinical environment
- Manage a caseload of approximately 1214 patients per day (including double-booked follow-ups)
- Meet productivity expectations of approximately 60 patient visits per week
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Georgia (required)
- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred)
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- CPR/BLS certification required
