Job Title: Physical Therapist (Travel/Contract)
Location: Hampton GA 30228
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week Day Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join a dynamic outpatient orthopedic clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients developing personalized treatment plans and delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to improve mobility function and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy exercise programs and modalities
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention recovery strategies and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation including evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain a clean safe and organized treatment environment
- Manage a caseload of approximately 1214 patients per day including double-booked follow-ups
- Meet productivity expectations of approximately 60 visits per week
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license (state-specific requirement applies)
- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred)
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
- Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR/BLS certification required
