Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Field Driver in Laurinburg NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support staff and visitors through strong communication and customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to persons at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points verify credentials as required and document security-related incidents observations and/or activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Carry and maintain authorized armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable location requirements while remaining prepared to respond to security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
