Job Summary
DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a safety-focused dependable individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This role is responsible for supporting infrastructure maintenance operations including roadside herbicide application traffic control and shadow/crash truck (TMA) operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; identify and report any issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Safely transport materials and equipment required for daily operations including loading unloading and mixing.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting and moving materials up to 60 pounds.
- Accurately complete and maintain driver logs inspection reports and required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT and DMV regulations including proper handling and placarding of hazardous materials.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives and support team members across various job functions when required.
Qualifications :
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid drivers license with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving history.
- Proficient in GPS navigation and route planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Flexible availability including days nights weekends and overtime as needed.
- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.

Pay rate:$18-21/hour depending on experience.
