Position Overview
The Assembly Technician Process Piping is responsible for assembling process piping systems in a production environment primarily through piping bolt-up. This Assembly Technician Process Piping role involves reading drawings following Bills of Material (BOMs) and building piping runs to exact specifications. The ideal Assembly Technician Process Piping is detail-oriented experienced in piping assembly and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Required Experience & Skills
12 years of experience in piping assembly or a related field (preferred)
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and prints
Familiarity with Bills of Material (BOMs) and assembly processes
Knowledge of materials used in process piping systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
Ability to work in a production-driven environment
Prior industry experience is a plus and may reduce training time
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assemble process piping systems primarily through piping bolt-up
Read and interpret assembly drawings and prints
Follow BOMs to ensure correct parts and materials are used
Build piping runs according to drawing specifications
Verify assemblies meet quality and specification requirements
Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
