We are seeking a Process Technician with 2-5 years of experience. This position will support finishing and packaging manufacturing operations and fill the factory efforts to maximize the manufacturing facilitys capacity and uptime. This is a day shift position with the expectation of occasional off hours work and on call support as needed. The Process Technician will partner with engineers operators mechanics technicians and external vendors to:
- Provide mechanical electrical software and control systems support for production equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Deliver day-to-day support for manufacturing equipment and operations.
- Sustain improve and modernize existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Contribute to projects that optimize capacity efficiency quality and cost savings by identifying bottlenecks and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Design hardware software and process solutions to drive continuous improvement.
- Create documentation and provide technical training on manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Maintain preventative maintenance documentation and schedules.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
Essential Skills:
- Ability to work safely and follow established safety procedures.
- Experience creating technical reports work instructions and SOPs.
- Experience with control systems and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical mechanical and software systems.
- Proficient with interpreting mechanical electrical and pneumatic diagrams and drawings.
- Adapt quickly and work effectively in a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas to peers and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.).
Beneficial Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Associates degree in mechanical electrical automation manufacturing or similar field
- Experience with slitter rewinder machines
- Experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLCs or other PLCs
- Experience with automated and robotic equipment
- Experience with SolidWorks Solidworks Electrical and SolidWorks PDM (or similar software)
- 3D Printing / Prototyping skills
- Familiarity with communication/data systems like GLS SQL databases and OPC.
- Familiarity with RFID applications.
Compensation: $27.00 $30.00 per hour based on experience
