Job Summary

Precision Drive Systems is a leading provider of high-precision electro-mechanical spindle repair and rebuild services for CNC machines automated manufacturing systems and both new and legacy precision machining equipment. Our customers rely on us for accuracy responsiveness troubleshooting and long-term spindle reliability.

We need an experienced and skilled technical professional with specific knowledge of tooling machine tools and CNC manufacturing equipment. However we are willing to train you if you have automotive or motor repair experience.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Read and comprehend design engineering drawings with included GD&T specifications.
  • Disassemble spindle motors review and replace damaged components complete repairs and QC test the assembled spindle.
  • Check blueprints to ascertain specifications test specifications procedures objectives and proper test equipment.
  • Balance rotating components testing of completed units and components under operational conditions.
  • Analyze and calculate test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
  • Record test procedures and results numerical and graphical data with precise attention to detail accuracy and safety.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • High math proficiency.
  • Basic level computer skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
