Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Security Engineer WAF (L2 Operations)
Responsibilities
A. Operational Support
Perform day-to-day monitoring of WAF alerts and traffic patterns.
Execute approved policy updates and signature tuning.
Process application onboarding requests under defined procedures.
Validate changes post-implementation and document results.
B. Incident Handling
Investigate WAF-triggered events and validate malicious activity.
Escalate advanced threats or complex cases to Lead Engineer.
Maintain clear ticket documentation of investigation steps.
C. Documentation & Reporting
Update WAF runbooks and knowledge articles.
Provide operational data for service reporting.
Support audit artifact collection as required.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications

Good years of experience in network or application security operations.
Experience with:
oF5 AWAF or similar WAF platforms
oWeb traffic analysis
oSignature/policy tuning
Familiarity with HTTP protocols and web application behavior.
Strong ITSM documentation and SLA management discipline.
Preferred Certifications
oF5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Bachelors degree required.
F5 training preferred.
Experience in structured enterprise operations preferred.
