Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary
This position is ideal for professionals looking to master core Accounts Receivable (AR) functions while managing a portfolio of high-risk customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
As an AR Specialist you will:
- Manage AR projects end-to-end
- Serve as primary AR contact for top-tier customers
- Develop strategies to reduce aged receivables and improve cash flow
- Present AR insights into leadership and recommend process improvements
- Mentor Level I and II staff on advanced AR practices

Physical Requirements:
Sit for long durations of time up to 8 hours. Work at a computer and keyboard for majority of work time. Stand walk bend twist and reach frequently throughout the work shift. Must occasionally lift to 25 pounds waist level.
Mental Requirements:
Work in a fast-paced environment adapt to assignment changes easily ability to multi-task learn office procedures and learn and use new software. Must be detailed oriented; communicate effectively via oral and written with all levels of employees vendors and customers.
Direction & Decision Making:
Complete directives given either verbally or written make and assist in determining logical decisions.
Knowledge & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or 7 years accounts receivable experience required.
- Strong computer knowledge including spreadsheets.
- International collections experience preferred.
- Working with customer portals preferred knowledge.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
60000 - 75000
