About You

We are looking to create a Talent Pool for future ongoing and temporary positions. Were looking for experienced Talent Acquisition Specialists who will bring:

  • An understanding of NSW Government recruitment processes particularly the Government Sector Employment (GSE) act (highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to remain focused adaptable and productive under pressure while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • A proven track record of effectively managing a high-volume recruitment workload whilst setting clear priorities and delivering high-quality customer service outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships influence decision-making and manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groups.

What Youll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will:

  • Recruit positions from start to finish helping managers meritoriously select the best candidates by offering advice and ensuring compliance to the GSE.
  • Be a recruitment expert guiding teams on effective hiring practices like advertising screening and interviewing to help them make smart hiring decisions.
  • Improve recruitment processes working with other teams to make recruitment smoother and more efficient through various workforce projects.
  • Build strong relationships connecting with hiring managers candidates and other government agencies to promote the department and attract talent.
  • Work closely with leaders helping shape hiring strategies that support the departments goals.

DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations. DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
