Our client is seeking an Expert SAP Functional Consultant for the PCDS (Production Planning Confirmation and Detailed Scheduling) product. This team provides the manual production planning and integrated confirmation solutions used for sequence scheduling across global engine plants.

The Mission: You will be the functional lead ensuring the stability and optimization of the production planning and sequence scheduling solutions. Your role involves translating plant-specific manufacturing needs into robust SAP configurations resolving high-priority production support issues and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of functional enhancements to ensure seamless engine production globally.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: IT Degree and/or relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in SAP functional roles.
• Track Record: Proven ability to manage complex production planning and scheduling environments.

Essential Skills (Verified):

• SAP MM/PP/SD Experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Operations Experience

Advantageous Skills:

• SAP Authorisation experience
• ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements)
• Development documentation
• Analyse and solve SAP Module issues
• Conduct SAP Module process configuration
• Update and maintain all SAP Module functional documentation
• Analyse and scope End-user authorisation roles
• Conduct Unit tests Integration tests and System Integration security tests
• Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
• Support the functional team with issues and provide a solutions-based approach
• Working knowledge of AWM and Agile Tool Chain.
• Work to conform to GROUP Group IT Security Instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the business requirements preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for
• Business Blueprint document
• Analyse and provide solutions to the Vehicles Sales process
• Update and maintain all functional documentation.
• Conduct Unit tests Integration tests and System Integration security tests.
• System Monitoring including Idocs Monitoring and processing
• Following the Agile Methodology i.e sprints scrum meetings retros in a DevOps environment
• Integration testing with other modules
• Understand interfaces IDOC and RFCs processing
• Preparing the cut over strategy for custom objects
• Preparing User manuals and conducting training to business process owners
• Go-live preparation and post Go-live support
• Interaction with clients through meetings calls and emails
• Handling Tickets and Tasks with the responsibility for closing the same within defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
• Responsible for troubleshooting issues for the system and providing support
• Executing the required changes through configuration
• Executing the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls
• Raising Change Requests (CRs) and writing Functional Specifications for them
• Preparing test data for testing of CRs (Change Requests)
• Testing CRs (Change Requests) and preparing test results
• Carrying out regression testing
• Interact with consultants of other modules
• User interface transactional solutions
