We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-focused Digital Direct Marketing Consultant to plan execute and optimise high-impact digital campaigns that drive customer acquisition engagement and retention. This role is ideal for a data-driven marketer with strong paid media expertise a solid understanding of budget management and a passion for performance optimisation across full-funnel digital channels.


The Digital Direct Marketing Consultantis responsible for the hands-on execution and optimisation of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns with a strong emphasis on paid media remarketing and retargeting strategies. The role works closely with analytics creative and operations teams to manage budgets monitor performance and deliver scalable measurable results across digital platforms.

This position requires working hours aligned with the United States ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders within this time zone.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan execute and optimise paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads LinkedIn Facebook/Meta Twitter/X and other digital channels.
  • Manage remarketing and retargeting campaigns including audience creation sequencing and performance optimisation.
  • Oversee departmental media budgets including forecasting pacing spend tracking and ROI analysis.
  • Execute end-to-end digital marketing campaigns across paid media email SMS push notifications and CRM platforms.
  • Build and manage audience segmentation using CRM paid media platforms and marketing automation tools.
  • Develop and manage personalised customer journeys aligned to lifecycle stages and behavioural triggers.
  • Goordinate campaign setup QA deployment and post-launch validation to ensure accuracy and performance.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics such as CTR CPA conversion rate ROAS and overall ROI.
  • Conduct A/B testing on creative messaging targeting placements and timing to continuously optimise results.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop compelling conversion-focused marketing assets.
  • Maintain marketing calendars and ensure campaigns align with broader business and performance goals.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations including opt-ins opt-outs and audience governance.
  • Produce regular performance reports and actionable insights to guide optimisation and strategy decisions.
  • Stay current with paid media trends platform updates tools and digital marketing best practices.

  • 3 years of experience in performance marketing paid media or digital direct marketing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid media platforms such as Google Ads LinkedIn Ads Meta Ads and similar.
  • Proven experience managing media budgets and spend optimisation within a marketing function.
  • Strong understanding of remarketing retargeting audience segmentation and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot Salesforce Marketing Cloud Marketo or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable optimisation insights.
  • Working knowledge of marketing analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics dashboards BI tools).
  • Solid understanding of data privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM GDPR POPIA or similar).
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HTML email editing and basic design tools.
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) and journey orchestration tools.
  • Experience running full-funnel paid media and conversion optimisation strategies.
  • Certification in digital marketing paid media platforms or marketing automation tools.
