Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and document observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds access points and perimeter areas to help support site rules and report potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify authorized access as directed by site procedures and communicate visitor contractor and/or employee issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations at the location by observing equipment areas reporting hazards or maintenance concerns and assisting with orderly response during weather utility and/or site-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a guard card.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
