The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations including team leadership financial performance guest service and compliance. The AGM plays a key role in executing company standards developing talent and maintaining a culture of accountability and engagement.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment
- Proven ability to lead coach and develop hourly teams and supervisors
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations including labor inventory and cost control
- Ability to drive guest service excellence and resolve escalated guest concerns
- Experience with hiring training and performance management
- Strong organizational problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- Food safety certification and alcohol service knowledge preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the General Manager in overseeing all daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Lead by example in delivering best-in-class guest service and creating a positive team environment
- Coach train and develop team members to meet performance and service expectations
- Monitor labor sales and operational metrics to drive business results
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and airport regulations
- Address and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Partner with the General Manager on hiring onboarding and performance management
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness food quality and brand presentation
- Foster a culture of accountability engagement and continuous improvement
