DescriptionThe IT Network Provisioning Engineer part of Emersons IT Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) organization will be responsible for the technical provisioning of LAN and WLAN services in alignment with Emerson IT standards.
The role involves ensuring the delivery of agreed service levels to internal customers and utilizing the relevant applications technologies and infrastructure that support these services within an ITILinspired framework. The primary scope covers the designated territory with the possibility of extending to additional areas as assigned.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Oversee the technical provisioning of LAN and WLAN services ensuring full alignment with Emerson IT standards processes and security policies.
- Conduct comprehensive site assessments identify gaps against Managed LAN/WLAN standards and define the required technical approach.
- Design LAN architectures that meet service requirements while considering business needs risks and budget constraints.
- Configure and implement LAN/WLAN solutions standardize deployments provide Day1 support and troubleshoot issues during project phases.
- Create detailed asbuilt documentation and ensure smooth handover to Operations through established transition processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Security WAN Wireless Server Telephony etc.) and with Provisioning Managers for planning and coordination.
- Support project delivery activities participate in project meetings manage deadlines escalate deviations and contribute to Go/NoGo decisions.
- Advise and assist Network Operations subcontractors and internal customers on LAN/WLAN service requirements and best practices.
- Drive continuous service improvement (CSI) by identifying enhancement opportunities in design implementation processes tools and documentation.
- (For experienced roles) Validate peer designs and configurations and support more complex or large-scale projects based on capacity and expertise.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP or comparable handson expertise.
- 3 years of LAN/WLAN deployment experience in international enterprise environments.
- 3 years working with Cisco LAN/WLAN devices.
- Strong experience with Cisco DNAC Cisco Prime switches controllers and APs.
- Proven skills in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2/3 Cisco networks.
- Familiarity with Cisco AAA/TACACS (ACS/ISE) and core services like DNS/DHCP.
- Strong customer focus analytical thinking and problemsolving ability.
- Clear communicator with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel occasionally.
- Comfortable working in a fastchanging IT environment.
- Advanced business English skills.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- CCIE Routing & Switching / Enterprise Infrastructure certification (considered a strong plus).
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certification.
- Understanding of adjacent technologies such as Telephony WAN and Server environments.
- Experience working on larger or more complex network implementation projects.
- Experience with project management methodologies or involvement in project-driven environments.
