Bij Covestro in Waalwijk produceren wij specialistische harsen voor ons Coatings & Adhesives-bedrijf. Na een uitgebreide leiderschapstransformatie is onze site klaar voor de volgende transitie naar een hoog presterende organisatie en wij hebben een ervaren leider nodig om dit te realiseren. Wij zijn op zoek naar een gedreven Sitemanager om onze site in Waalwijk te begeleiden tijdens een spannende periode van groei en investering!

Wat ga je doen

Als Sitemanager ontwikkel implementeer en realiseer je het productieplan van de site binnen de strategie van het Coatings & Adhesives-bedrijf. Je draagt eindverantwoordelijkheid voor alle operaties met een personeelsbestand van 400 medewerkers.

• Veiligheid Kwaliteit & ComplianceJe zorgt voor volledige HSE-naleving stelt hoge normen op het gebied van veiligheid en operationele discipline en identificeert en beperkt operationele risicos om veilige en betrouwbare operaties te garanderen.

• Operaties & PrestatiesJe definieert en voert het productieplan van de site uit om leverings- en kwaliteitsdoelstellingen te halen bewaakt de operationele prestaties en implementeert corrigerende maatregelen om jaarlijkse en meerjarige doelstellingen te behalen.

• InvesteringsprogrammaJe richt de organisatie en aanpak in om een meerjarig CAPEX- programma van tientallen miljoenen euros- inclusief het ontwerp van een nieuwe fabriek- op tijd en volledig te realiseren.

• Mensen & OrganisatieJe leidt ontwikkelt en inspireert een personeelsbestand van 400 medewerkers bevordert betrokkenheid en vaardigheidsontwikkeling en stimuleert een hoogpresterende cultuur. Je treedt op als werkgeversvertegenwoordiger bij de Ondernemingsraad.

• StakeholdermanagementJe onderhoudt belangrijke externe relaties (bijv. Stahl autoriteiten) om de license to operate en bedrijfscontinuïteit te waarborgen.

Wat breng je mee

• Masterdiploma in een technische discipline met 5-10 jaar ervaring in operationeel leiderschap

• Passie voor HSE en gedragsveiligheidscultuur in hoogrisico-productie

• Bewezen staat van dienst in teamontwikkeling op meerdere organisatieniveaus

• Sterke vaardigheid om een hoogpresterende cultuur te stimuleren met succesvolle talentontwikkelingsinitiatieven

• Uitstekende communicatie- en beïnvloedingsvaardigheden met tact en diplomatie

• Passie voor continue verbetering en een optimistische benadering van probleemoplossing

• Vloeiend in het Engels; bereidheid om Nederlands te leren

De uitdaging

• Een zelfstandige locatie met 2 productiefabrieken (PUD & Acrylics) Onderhoud & Utilities Interne Logistiek R&D en Sales

• Een site die klaar is om over te gaan naar een hoogpresterende organisatie na de leiderschapstransformatie

• Een meerdere tientallen miljoenen euros omvattend investeringsprogramma over de komende 4-5 jaar inclusief een nieuw fabrieksontwerp

• De nieuwe organisatiestructuur gaat live op 1 juli 2026 na de herstructurering die in januari 2026 is aangekondigd

Following a comprehensive leadership transformation our site is ready for its next evolution into a high-performing organization and we need an experienced leader to make it happen. We are looking for a drivenSite Managerto guide our Waalwijk site through an exciting period of growth and investment!

What will you do

As Site Manager you develop implement and realize the site manufacturing plan within the Coatings & Adhesives business strategy. You hold end-to-end responsibility for all operations across a workforce of 400 employees.

• Safety Quality & ComplianceYou ensure full HSE compliance set high standards in safety and operational discipline and identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure safe reliable operations.

• Operations & PerformanceYou define and execute the site manufacturing plan to meet delivery and quality targets monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions to achieve annual and multi-year objectives.

• Investment ProgramYou set up the organization and approach to deliver a high double-digit million-euro multi-year Capex program including the design of a new plant on time and in full.

• People & OrganizationYou lead develop and inspire a workforce of 400 employees foster engagement and skills development and drive a high-performance culture. You act as employer representative with the Works Council.

• Stakeholder ManagementYou maintain key external relationships (e.g. Stahl authorities) to safeguard the license to operate and business continuity.
