Job Summary

Lead end-to-end project execution from initiation to closeout ensuring alignment with business goals and technical specifications.
Oversee daily site operations including workforce management resource allocation and logistics coordination across remote and urban locations in Central Africa.
Develop and implement detailed project plans schedules risk assessments and contingency strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Monitor project progress against KPIs budgets and timelines delivering regular performance reports to senior management.
Ensure strict adherence to health safety and environmental (HSE) standards as well as local regulations and international best practices.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients contractors vendors and local authorities fostering strong partnerships and effective communication.
Conduct site inspections quality audits and compliance reviews to maintain technical integrity and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Identify and mitigate project risks proactively resolving issues swiftly to minimize delays and cost overruns.
Train mentor and supervise on-site teams promoting a culture of accountability continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Coordinate with regional and global technology teams to ensure seamless integration of site-level activities with broader organizational initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Project Management or a related field.
25 years of progressive experience in project management within the technology telecommunications or infrastructure sector.
Proven track record managing complex multi-site technology projects in emerging or challenging environments.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall PRINCE2) and tools (MS Project JIRA Asana or similar).
Excellent organizational leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced dynamic settings.
Proficiency in budgeting cost control and financial reporting for project deliverables.
Experience with stakeholder management vendor negotiations and contract administration.
Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
Fluency in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable given the regional context.
