Job Summary
Content Moderator (Dutch English) ByteDance (GEC CM)
Location: Lisbon Portugal (On-site)
About the Role
We are looking for a Dutch-speaking Content Moderator to join ByteDances Global E-Commerce (GEC) team in this role you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating online content to ensure compliance with platform policies and community standards.
This is a dynamic role suited for individuals who can make fast accurate decisions work in a high-volume environment and maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review analyze and moderate user-generated content (text images videos)
- Ensure content complies with company policies and legal requirements
- Identify and remove inappropriate or harmful content
- Make quick accurate decisions based on guidelines
- Handle high volumes of content especially during peak promotion periods
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve moderation processes
Requirements
- Fluency in Dutch (C1/C2) and English (B2)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms and online content
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high workloads
- Empathy and strong customer service mindset
Working Schedule
- 24/7 rotational shifts (Monday to Sunday)
- 3 shift patterns:
- 07:00 16:00
- 14:00 23:00
- 22:30 07:30
- 2 rotational days off
Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: 1100 x 14 months
- Meal Allowance: 7.63 per working day
- Performance Bonus: 100 x 11 months
- Welcome Bonus: 1500
- Paid in 12 monthly installments during the first year
